Bandages

Bandage:

"Piece of cloth used for first aid during emergency is known as bandage"

Types of Bandages:
        Bandages have five types.

• Round Bandage:- This type of bandage is mostly used in hospitals or in first aid activities. It is used in applying bandages. Its width is 3" to 6". It is also kept in the First Aid Box.
• First Field Dressing:- It had medicine with it on its one end. During war soldiers and Sector Wardens kept it with then and use it in emergency.
• Many Tails Bandages:- It has six tails on its one end and six tails on its other ends. It is installed on abdomen in many cases.
• Crape Bandages:- It is also known as warm bandage(garam patti). It has a needle pin on its one end and is used on open wounds or simple wounds. It is used in applying on bones to keep them warm.
• Triangle Bandages:- This bandage is kept in First Aid Box. It has three ends. Its rope length is 12 feet and its length is 40"/40".
